Welcome to South Wiltshire Ramblers

Based on the Cathedral City of Salisbury the South Wiltshire group offer a programmes of walks to suit most abilities. There are three weekly walks of anything between 5 and 12 miles. The longer walks are mainly on Sundays. Once a month two other types are offered; under 5 miles and a morning walk at brisker pace. All these may be in the local area or further away.

We also have two teams, known as the light and heavy gangs, dedicated to path maintenance.

You don't have to be a member of the Ramblers to join us for a walk. So if you have a spare few hours and fancy some exercise, walking or path maintainence, check out the rest of our web site and come and join us.

NB: All dogs brought on walks are to be kept on leads at all times.  Assistance Dogs are always welcome, unless there is a physical or safety reason why a walk cannot accommodate them.  Please contact the walk leader if you intend to bring a dog; he/she can advise you if the walk is suitable
